On any other night, Undercovers, J.J. Abrams' and Josh Reims' lighthearted action caper featuring relative newcomers Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as a Hart to Hart-esque couple who double as spies, would be a surefire hit.
This year, though, all bets are off, thanks to Survivor's move to Wednesdays. Complicating the issue - at least, here in Canada - is CTV's So You Think You Can Dance Canada and A's America's Next Top Model. Survivor, which, this season, features a ``battle of the ages'' - geezer versus young punks - will air on Global, and Undercovers will bow on Citytv.
Undercovers may yet prove to be a wise gamble, as it will provide an alternative for viewers tired of reality TV. If recent TV history teaches anything, though, it's that the audience's appetite for reality TV is far from sated. Labels: NBC, Ratings, Season 1, Undercovers
